Member of the European Parliament for the East MidlandsI was born and brought up in Stroud, Gloucestershire and was educated at my local grammar school, Stroud Girls High School. I graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Law and went on to work as a legal Clerk in a law firm.
Vice PresidentMartin has been a county councillor since 1993 for Folkingham Rural which represents 25 parishes between Sleaford, Bourne and Grantham and was elected Leader in 2005.He was awarded the OBE for services to Lincolnshire in 2008.In 2011 Martin was elected chairman of East Midlands Councils whose main aims are to support 45 local authorities to improve their services and provide a strong voice for the region.
