Councillor for Dolewood Ward
I have been a member of Thurlby Parish Council for 6 years and I am now in my third year as chairman. Among other issues, I have been involved in the reduction of the speed limit along the A15 between Thurlby and Northorpe as well as the upcoming installation of a signal-controlled crossing at Northorpe.
My time on the Council has encouraged me to take an active role in District matters that concern the new Dole Ward.
I am a professional consultant designing and managing the installation of animal feed and associated products among others. My job has taken me to many parts of the world, including Europe where I lived and worked in my profession for 25 years. Organising large and complex projects has given me vital expertise that I can use in my role as a representative on local councils.
My wife, two daughters and I moved to Thurlby twelve years ago. Apart from my professional qualifications, I hold an honours degree in humanities.
